Today, I judged a delivery man too quickly.
He came to deliver food from a home cook who isn’t on Swiggy or Zomato.
I live on the first floor, and he took the lift.
My first thought was, “Why take the lift for the first floor?”
The truth is, I often judge people who take the lift for just one floor.
I took the food.
He left.
A few moments later, I happened to look out of the window.
There he was, riding away on an old Hero bicycle.
It wasn’t in great condition.
Neither was he.
He was cycling slowly, and he looked tired.
And just like that… my opinion changed.
I quietly said, “Sorry.”
Not because he heard me, but because I needed to.

The Perspective
Funny how little information we need to build an opinion.
And how little more it takes to change it.
I saw the lift.
I hadn’t seen the bicycle.
Maybe that’s how most first impressions work.
We see one scene and assume we’ve watched the whole movie.
